NovaTract develops new, innovative laparoscopic medical devices for minimally invasive surgery

Our initial product addresses the need to reduce the number and/or size of incisions necessary to perform minimally invasive surgery, particularly in the rapidly growing field of Single-Port Laparoscopic Surgery (single-port) and Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES). Demand for these methods is increasing due to the decrease in number of incisions required and therefore, leading to less pain and scarring, and less risk of infection, adhesion or hernias in the abdomen wall.  This results in shorter recovery times and improved cosmetics.
